Card term

Virtual card expiration: what users should know

Card term matters most when you expect to use a card over time. Note the stated expiry before setting up subscriptions or planning future online payments.

Stated TWCards card terms

  • Standard: 12-month term.
  • Gold: three-year term.
  • Platinum: two-year term.

Why term matters for subscriptions

A merchant can try to charge a card long after the first payment. Keep the card’s expiry and any scheduled renewal dates visible, then update or cancel the merchant payment method through the merchant’s official account when needed.

Do not assume a renewal process

Card term information helps you plan; it does not establish what happens next at expiry. Review the live card information and official terms before relying on a future renewal, replacement or migration option.

A card can also be unavailable for reasons unrelated to expiry, including status, balance, merchant or provider checks.
