Limits

How card limits affect online payments

A stated monthly limit helps you compare plans, but it is only one condition among card balance, merchant acceptance, security checks and current account status.

What a stated monthly limit tells you

It indicates the plan’s stated maximum monthly card spending boundary. TWCards lists up to $4,000 per month for Standard and up to $50,000 per month for Gold and Platinum. These amounts do not promise approval of a particular purchase.

What the limit does not tell you

It does not replace a real-time balance check or the merchant’s acceptance decision. A payment may include an authorisation, currency conversion, additional charge or a merchant-specific restriction that changes the amount needed at checkout.

Before a larger payment

  • Check the available card balance shortly before the purchase.
  • Review the merchant’s exact price, currency and refund policy.
  • Confirm the remaining monthly amount and current card status.
  • Do not split or retry a payment to bypass a merchant or card rule.

For any payment where failure would cause a serious problem, confirm the current details in the official flow before relying on the card.
